It was festive day at Sarvail with the families of old students at Sarvail. There were about five hundred people gathered for the family get together arranged by Sarvail Alumni association. Students memorizing their school days with their friends and families roaming around all the places in the school.
Old students actively participated in all the events and sports. There was Ten10 cricket match between the school students and children of old students. Also musicale chair game was conducted for the ladies and children.
Addressing the family get together District collector Sri. M purushottam Reddy gave a positive assurance to alumni and school that would help in building the infrastructure to the school. He advised students that they should take positive inspiration from all the great person who has come out from this school and advised Teachers to show the same commitment in bringing the best in class education to this school.
Earlier Sri. Mahendar Reddy IG(1978 batch) explained to collector and families of old students how the school has evolved. He mentioned the present challenges of the school in terms of infrastructure development and requested Collector to help in this regard. Alumni association has provided the cots for the school and we need help from government to build the class rooms, compound wall and toilets. He reiterated to make this school as regional school to bring the competitive environment and old glory of the school.
Sri VV Satyanarayana spoke about how the association has evolved which is helping to build the infrastructure and providing health camps to school children. He initiated the first gathering of old students in the year of 1982.
Association president Sri. Sampath Kumar, General secratary Rajshaker Reddy, Sri Mallesham 75 batch addressed the gathering. Collector facilitated father of Naveen Reddy for securing state 8th rank in SSC. Collector and Sri Mahendar reddy handed over the sports Kit donated by Jagadishwar Balla & Giribabu from 1989 batch. Dr. T prabhakar Rao (77 batch), DCP east zone, hydrabad also joined in this get-together.
