It was an inspirational day for the students of A.P. Residential School, Sarvail in Nalgonda district with the former students, occupying prominent positions in the society, sharing their experiences, and explaining the opportunities available and the courses to pursue to realise their dreams. The Alumni Association of the school organised career workshop as well as a medical camp on Saturday as a part of its yearly activities. Inaugurating the programme, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Zone, Hyderabad, Y. Nagi Reddy, who is an alumnus of the school inspired the youngsters explaining how he has succeeded in bagging a rank in the Civil Services. Inspiration An IPS officer of 1997 batch, he explained how he was inspired by his seniors from the same school and the values inculcated in the school helped him achieve success. Shantananda Prasad, C. Uday Bhasker, M. Rajaekhara Reddy, D.V. Ramana Reddy – alumni of the school and professionals from different fields also spoke. Later, at the medical camp organised under the supervision of Dr. Narender Reddy of 1979 batch students were checked for ailments and medicines were distributed to the needy.
