Srinivasulu (Srini) Ale has been awarded as outstanding associate editor for year 2020 from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers.
Srinivas has obtained his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana, and BS and MS in Agricultural Engineering from India. He has extensive research experience in hydrologic, water quality and crop growth modeling, and he has lead or contributed to various research projects in the USA, India and the Netherlands over the last two and half decades. His research interests include: i) assessing the effects of changes in land use, land management and climate on hydrology and soil and water quality, ii) evaluation of the best management practices for protecting soil and water quality, iii) development of decision support tools for crop production under the current and future climate change scenarios, and iv) characterization of groundwater quantity and quality.
